State Rep. Win Moses appointed to 2008 interim study committees
INDIANAPOLIS —— Indiana House Speaker B. Patrick Bauer (D-South Bend) has appointed State Reps. Win Moses and Phil GiaQuinta (both D-Fort Wayne) to interim study committees that will meet this summer and fall.
"Representatives GiaQuinta and Moses will be critically important to the study committees," said Bauer. "These two gentlemen bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be beneficial in the exploration of the topics to be studied. Many of these issues will come before the Indiana General Assembly during the 2009 legislative session."
The study committees will submit reports of their findings to the General Assembly by Nov. 1.
STATE REP. PHIL GIAQUINTA (D-Fort Wayne) was reappointed to the Census Data Advisory Committee and will serve on the Interim Study Committee on Alcoholic Beverages.
STATE REP. WIN MOSES (D-Fort Wayne) will chair the Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations. He also will be a member of the Pension Management Oversight Commission as well as serving with the Simplified State Sales Tax Administration Delegates.
