A message from Committee Chair David Orentlicher
“While estimates vary somewhat, there is little doubt that so-called ‘small’ businesses are contributing significantly to the nation's economic growth.
“The work of the Indiana House Small Business & Economic Development Committee has in the past focused upon legislation with a goal of enhancing the environment for these types of business interests in our state.
“Our committee members bring to our deliberations a vast wealth of personal and professional experiences, providing a rich legislative backdrop for our deliberations.
“Through bipartisan efforts that involve the collection of positive and progressive ideas for legislation that can foster the growth of small businesses in Indiana, this committee will continue to advance new opportunities for economic growth in our state.”
