A message from Committee Chair Terri Austin
“The effective yet fiscally prudent construction and maintenance of Indiana's roads and transportation networks is of primary concern to nearly all Hoosiers.
“Without these basic economic development building blocks in place, our state's economy cannot—and will not—generate the job opportunities we need in order to sustain continued growth. Indiana is committed to making the investments it needs to make in order to attract and maintain good-paying jobs for the future.
“As chair of the Indiana House Roads & Transportation Committee, I look forward to working with Democrats and Republicans alike who share my commitment to protect and enhance the valuable transportation-related assets we have built with our own hard-earned tax dollars.”
