A message from Committee Chairman Clyde Kersey
“The citizens of Indiana have a right to expect that the duly sworn members of their state legislature will conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the utmost values of honesty and integrity.
“In seeking to firmly establish and promote these values in the actions of their members, the Indiana House of Representatives and the Indiana Senate have each established a Statutory Committee on Ethics with responsibilities related to the ethical operation of these two legislative bodies.
“As chairman of the House Ethics Committee, I take these responsibilities very seriously and will work with all individuals who wish to further ensure the public's confidence in the vital work of the Indiana General Assembly.”
