Indiana House District 6 consists of most of eastern and central South Bend, the southwest corner of Mishawaka, and the western part of Penn Township in St. Joseph County in northern Indiana.
The district includes downtown South Bend, St. Joseph's and St. Mary's Lakes, the University of Notre Dame, Indiana University-South Bend, Ivy Tech State College and portions of three school districts: South Bend Community Schools, Mishawaka, and Penn-Harris-Madison.
