in January of each year.)

A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning local
government.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1. IC 36-2-2-6 IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS
[EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2013]: Sec. 6. The executive shall hold a
regular meeting at least once each month and at other times as needed
to conduct all necessary business. Dates of regular meetings shall be
established by resolution at
