A BILL FOR AN ACT concerning human services and to make an
appropriation.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1. [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2009] (a) There is
appropriated one million dollars ($1,000,000) to the family and
social services administration from the state general fund for the
adult guardianship project for the state fiscal year beginning July
1, 2009, and ending June 30, 2010.
(b) There is appropriated one million dollars ($1,000,000) to the
family and social services administration from the state general
fund for the adult guardianship project for the state fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011.
(c) This SECTION expires December 31, 2011.

SECTION 2. [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2009]
(a) There is
appropriated one hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) to the
family and social services administration from the state general
fund to provide funds for self-advocate programs for individuals
with developmental disabilities for the state fiscal year beginning
July 1, 2009, and ending June 30, 2010.
(b) There is appropriated one hundred eighty thousand dollars
($180,000) to the family and social services administration from the
state general fund to provide funds for self-advocate programs for
individuals with developmental disabilities for the state fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011.
(c) This SECTION expires December 31, 2011.
