MADAM PRESIDENT:
I move
that Senate Bill 1 be amended to read as follows:
Page 2, delete lines 2 through 11, begin a new paragraph and
insert:
" (b) (1) One (1) of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(1) and one of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(2) must represent a district which encompasses all or
part of Lake County.
(2) One (1) of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(1) and one of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(2) must represent a district which encompasses all or
part of Porter County.
(3) One (1) of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(1) and one of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(2) must represent a district which encompasses all or
part of LaPorte County.
(4) One (1) of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(1) and one of the members appointed under subsection
(a)(2) must represent a district which encompasses all or
part of Starke, Newton or Jasper County
.".
