    I move that House Bill 1483 be amended to read as follows:

SOURCE: Page 5, line 16; (07)MO148305.5. -->     Page 5, line 16, after "(b)" insert " (a)".
    Page 5, between lines 19 and 20, begin a new paragraph and insert:
    " (b) This subsection expires December 31, 2009. This chapter does not apply to contractors or subcontractors performing public work for a school corporation (as defined in IC 36-1-2-17) or a state educational institution (as defined in IC 20-12-0.5-1).".
