Synopsis: Dispensing abortion devices or drugs or birth control.
Provides that a person may not be required, as a condition of training,
employment, pay, promotion, or privileges, to dispense: (1) a medical
device or drug that may result in an abortion; or (2) a birth control
device or medication.
Effective: July 1, 2006.

A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning
health.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1. IC 16-34-1-5 IS AMENDED TO READ AS
FOLLOWS [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2006]: Sec. 5. No person shall be
required, as a condition of training, employment, pay, promotion, or
privileges, to
do any of the following:
(1) Agree to perform or participate in the performing of abortions.
(2) Dispense:
(A) a medical device or drug that may result in, or that is
intended to result in, an abortion; or
(B) a birth control device or medication.
