SENATE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION



    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION commemorating the Indianapolis "We Will Stand!" celebration in support of rebuilding the family, restoring the community, and renewing the nation.

    Whereas, Indiana is a state rich in ethnic, racial, religious, and cultural diversity;

    Whereas, the citizens of Indiana appreciate the importance of fostering understanding and cooperation among all people;

    Whereas, the vision of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness binds a diverse people with a dream that is the essence of America;

    Whereas, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification is leading efforts to bring people of different backgrounds together through interfaith participation with its 50 state "We Will Stand!" tour in support of rebuilding the family, restoring the community, and renewing the nation; and

    Whereas, the Indiana celebration of "We Will Stand!" will be sponsored in Indianapolis by community leaders representing a diversity of faiths, races, and cultures: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly
of the State of Indiana, the House of Representative concurring:




    SECTION 1. That the General Assembly hereby expresses its support of the "We Will Stand!" celebration that honors and supports diversity, rebuilding the family, restoring the community, and renewing the nation.

    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the Senate transmit three copies of this resolution to Reverend Doctor Damon Roach, Chairman of the Invitational Committee for the "We Will Stand!" celebration.
