A HOUSE RESOLUTION to honor Mary "Aline"
Loudermilk for the twenty-three years of service and devotion
to Knox County.
Whereas, Mary Loudermilk was hired on October 1, 1976
by Robert Evans, Knox County Treasurer, as a deputy. Mary
served a total of four Knox County Treasurers including:
Robert Evans; Delores Evans; Beverly Marsh; and current
Knox County Treasurer, Terry Ewer;
Whereas, Mary Loudermilk later became Bookkeeper
under Delores Evans after spending many years as an excellent
Deputy. Mary's career continued to prosper in the political
arena and she was later appointed First Deputy for Beverly
Marsh and Terry Ewer;
Whereas, Mary Loudermilk chose to retire as First Deputy
on January 4, 1999, which was obviously well deserved. Mary
has played a major role in the political arena and has made quite
an impression. Mary also, is a mother of four sons and is
presently an active member for other organizations including:
Eastern Star Church and Wheatland Methodist Church.
Whereas, The House of Representatives would like to
congratulate Mary on her extreme devotion at her many
positions for Knox County and wish her much happiness to
come.
SECTION 1. That the General Assembly of the Indiana House of
Representatives honor Mary "Aline" Loudermilk for the twenty-three
years of service and devotion to Knox County.
SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the Indiana House of Representatives to transmit a copy to this House Resolution to Mary "Aline" Loudermilk.
