We can't give you legal advice by telephone, email or on the internet! We are not your lawyer. We can only point you to lawyers or programs that may be able to help you.
The providers listed at the links on this page provide assistance with civil (not criminal) cases only. For assistance with a criminal case, you may either hire a private attorney or accept legal representation from the local public defender's office.
Please choose your county of residence to see a list of organizations in your area that provide legal services to low income clients. If you are filing in a different county, please contact the providers for both of those counties to determine which pro bono organization may be able to provide you assistance. Legal representation may be provided free or at a low cost to those who qualify; however, no-cost or low-cost legal help is not available in all cases. Each county is a part of one of 12 districts.
This is not an exhaustive list, and more resources for finding legal help are listed at the bottom of this page.
