ORDER APPROVING AMENDMENT TO

MONTGOMERY COUNTY LOCAL RULE 27

 

            The judges of the Montgomery Circuit, Superior, and County courts, request the approval of an amendment to the Montgomery County Local Rule 27, which establishes a panel of judges from which special judges are to be selected in civil cases.  This amendment to Montgomery County Local Rule 27 is proposed pursuant to requirements of Indiana Trial Rule 79(H), and makes modifications to the proposed panel of judicial officers to reflect changes in office holders and available judicial officers. 

            Upon examination of the proposed local rule amendment, this Court finds that the rule amendment complies with the requirements of Trial Rule 79(H), and, accordingly, should be approved.

            IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED by this Court that the Amendment to Montgomery County Local Rule 27, set forth as an attachment to this Order, is now approved, effective October 1, 2003.

            The Clerk of this Court is directed to forward a copy of this Order to the Honorable Thomas K. Milligan, Montgomery Circuit Court, to the Honorable David A. Ault, Montgomery Superior Court, to the Honorable Peggy Q. Lohorn, Montgomery County Court, and to the Clerk of the Montgomery Circuit Court.

            The Clerk of the Montgomery Circuit Court is directed to place a copy of this Order in the Record of Judgments and Orders for all courts of record in Montgomery County and to post this Order for public examination.
