ORDER APPOINTING JUDGE PRO TEMPORE

The regular presiding judge of the Harrison Superior Court has advised this Court of the need for the appointment of a judge Pro Tempore in those courts, from July 6, 2004 until further order of this Court, due to the planned medical absence of the judge.  Accordingly, we find that, in the interests of the continuing administration of justice and pursuant to Ind.Trial Rule 63(B), a judge pro tempore should be appointed to discharge temporarily the duties of that office.  This Court has been advised that Senior Judge Curtis B. Eskew is willing to serve as judge pro tempore in the Harrison Superior Court during this period.

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED that Senior Judge Curtis B. Eskew is appointed as Judge Pro Tempore in the Harrison Superior Court, effective July 6, 2004, until further order of this Court.  This order shall be sufficient authority for Judge Eskew to continue the employment of court personnel and otherwise discharge the duties of Judge of the Harrison Superior Court.   Judge Eskew shall be entitled to compensation for this service, paid by the State of Indiana, computed at the same rate as the regular judge commencing from the date of this order, pursuant to T.R. 63(D).

The Clerk of this Court is directed to forward a certified copy of this Order to the presiding judge of the Harrison Superior Court; to the Clerk of the Harrison Superior Court, who is directed to enter this Order into the Record of Judgments and Orders; to the Honorable Roger Davis; to the Division of State Court Administration, payroll department; and to the Indiana Judicial Center.

DONE at Indianapolis, Indiana, this 7th day of July, 2004.
