For Law Students in Recovery

A Listserv has been developed by the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs (CoLap) to provide a confidential e-mail vehicle for law students who want to get, or stay, clean and sober while in law school. This is a chance for students to connect with and ask questions of their law school peers throughout the US and share their experience, strength, and hope. To be added to the Listserv contact Donna Spilis, the Director of CoLap, directly or contact Terry Harrell or Tim Sudrovech at JLAP for more information. You may e-mail Donna Spilis at spilisd@staff.abanet.org . Interested students should be prepared to talk a bit about their own history and their interest in communicating with law students facing similar challenges around the country. Donna Spilis will make the final determination regarding whether or not a student is added to the Listserv and will provide each student with rules and regulations regarding use of the Listserv.
