Honorable Jane Spencer Craney

Judge Craney has served as Judge of Morgan Superior Court III since 1991. Prior work experience includes Prosecuting Attorney to the 15th Judicial Circuit, Chief Deputing Prosecuting Attorney, Law Clerk to the Honorable Stanley Miller of the Indiana Court of Appeals, and the Indiana Judicial Center.

The Indiana Judicial Center, Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council, Indiana State Police Academy, Indian Attorneys in Capital Litigation, Indiana Diversity Investigator's School, National Judicial College, and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Foundation have utilized Judge Craney's great teaching expertise.

Judge Craney currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Judge's Association, the Indiana Judicial Conference, Hanover College Alumni Association, and is a member of the Indiana Mentor Judge Program and the Character & Fitness Committee of the Indiana State Board of Law Examiners. Judge Craney worked on the Governor's Task Force in Prescription Drug Abuse and the Governor's task Force on Mental Health Issues in the Criminal Justice System.
