Disciplinary Commission

Purpose

The Disciplinary Commission is a board of citizens appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court. It consists of seven lawyers and two non-lawyers and employs staff to investigate and prosecute cases. The Disciplinary Commission reviews complaints made against Indiana attorneys. All lawyers must abide by the Rules of Professional Conduct, which are ethical standards for the practice of law. The Disciplinary Commission enforces these rules.
