The Indiana Supreme Court held a free CLE event, "Selected Cases from Indiana in the U.S. Supreme Court," on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm in the House Chambers.
This is a free CLE event sponsored by the Indiana Supreme Court Legal History Lecture Series with support from the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education. It has been assigned course number 153309 for 1.5 hours. Registration will be completed at the door.
This presentation, led by Justice Frank Sullivan, Jr. and his Inn of Court team, will focus on several different cases from Indiana decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. The cases include a range of civil and criminal topics. Cases scheduled for discussion include: Cheever v. Wilson (1869), Irvin v. Dowd (1961), Jackson v. Indiana (1972), Roudebush v. Hartke (1972), Stump v. Sparkman (1978), and Thomas v. Review Board of Indiana Employment Security Division (1981), and many more.
