This series of lesson plans was developed in 2009 in a partnership between Courts in the Classroom and the Fort Wayne Lincoln Museum in commemoration of Abraham Lincoln's 150th birthday.

Lesson plans were created by teachers from the Fort Wayne area for students in grades 3-12 using letters, speeches, photos, sculptures, paintings, and other primary source materials about the life and presidency of Abraham Lincoln.  Topics covered include the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, the Gettysburg Address, the 13th Amendment, and voting.
