The applicant must have successfully taken and passed the Indiana bar examination, (except attorneys who are licensed in another jurisdiction and who qualify for admission without examination under the provisions of Admission and Discipline Rule 6.)
In addition to obtaining a scaled score of 264 or higher on the Indiana Bar Examination, each applicant for admission upon examination, before being admitted, must pass the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE). The passing score for the MPRE shall be a scaled score of eighty (80) and must be achieved within two (2) years before or after the date the applicant successfully takes the Indiana bar examination.
A certified transcript of the law school record of the applicant showing the date of graduation and the degree conferred must be filed with the Board of Law Examiners before the applicant can be admitted to the bar.
An applicant who successfully passes the bar examination must complete all requirements for, and receive, a law degree and be admitted to the practice of law before the Court within two (2) years of the last date of the applicant's bar examination, or the bar examination must be repeated.
