Court Administration and Judicial Center has an opening for a Program Attorney, who will be responsible for developing, administering, promoting, and supporting the continuing judicial education programs of the Indiana Supreme Court. Judge Baker at the Court of Appeals of Indiana is currently accepting applications for a two-year clerkship to begin in August 2017. The starting salary is $63,780. Applications will be accepted until September 1, 2016.
The Indiana Tax Court hires law clerks to work under the supervision of Judge Martha Blood Wentworth. Law clerks perform a variety of tasks, including legal research, drafting memoranda, reviewing orders and opinions, and assisting in preparing preliminary draft opinions. Law clerks work individually, as a team with fellow clerks, and directly with the Judge.
The Supreme Court of Indiana has opportunities for law clerks to work directly with the five Justices of the Court. Each clerk will perform a variety of tasks, including legal research and drafting memorandums. But more importantly, a law clerk for the Supreme Court will become involved in the rich history and traditions of the Court and participate in challenging discussions of contemporary law and events that make up the fabric of the legal system.
