MINIMUM IDACS 2000 SPECIFICATIONS
Stand-a-lone “terminal agency” can use:
Operating System: Windows 2000 Professional or better operating system,capable of running DataMaxx Omnixx Client.
Note: Agencies that have used windows 98 or older operating system have experienced extreme slowness and in one instance moving the mouse caused the system to lock up.
- DataMaxx Omnixx Client (provided by IDACS)
Network Connection:
-56 Kilobit Frame Relay Service on the Indiana Telecommunications Network (ITN).
Hardware: Common off-the shelf with a minimum:
- Pentium III (or better) processor
- 128 MB RAM
- 20 GB Hard Drive
- 10/100 MbPCI Ethernet network card.
- Monitors, 15” or greater.
- Speakers for auditable notification of message received.
- Local or network available printer.
- Image scanner (optional).
- Multiple port network hub/switch.
These specifications are the minimum required to run Omnixx only!
- If any other application will be used; a more robust machine will be needed.
- The agency will be solely responsible for determining the additional requirements for any additional applications used.
In order for the Indiana State Police, System and Programming personnel to work with your agency the workstation must meet the minimum specifications.
