Master Gardeners

Every second and fourth Saturday from April through September, all volunteers interested in team gardening experiences are invited to work with our Master Gardeners beginning at 8 a.m.  Group gardening work dates will resume every second and fourth watgar_planting.jpgSaturday at 9 a.m. from April through September to allow gardeners an opportunity to exchange knowledge and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of their labor in the Watanabe Family Gardens

Master Gardeners and those interested in learning more about gardening are invited to assist with the perennial and prairie showcase gardens on the museum grounds any time. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of our program! This volunteer opportunity has flexible scheduling through out the week to accommodate gardeners with busy schedules.

Our Spring Master Gardener Season Kick-Off will take place on Saturday, March 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. with door prizes, a training presentation about the wildflower gardens, refreshments and information on new tour guide training opportunities for the gardens!

Contact the Volunteer Center with questions or to sign up.
