Educational Events 2008

Day in a Life - Fall 2008
The “Day in a Life at Fort Knox II” War of 1812 School Program is an educational event exclusively for Knox County 8th grade students. Its goal is to preserve and and interpret Indiana’s and Vincennes’ territorial-era history.

La Petite Fête de Vincennes - TBA
This three-day program educates high school French classes and the public about the lives of the early French settlers and the heritage of Vincennes.  It will build understanding of the French culture during Indiana's early territorial period and highlight French traditions that are still honored today.

For more information on school programs and Indiana Academic Standards met at Vincennes State Historic Sites, contact  Western Region Education Coordinator Leann Luce at 812.882.5275 or e-mail her at: lluce@dnr.in.gov.
