Unlock the secrets to Indiana's hidden history and explore the world of archaeology at the Indiana State Museum. Take part in a variety of hands-on activities including spear throwing, making your own cordage, creating rock art, unraveling a cultural history mystery, and much, much more. Meet archaeologists and discuss recent excavations and discoveries. Watch demonstrations of ancient life through flint knapping, ground stone technology and other skills. Discover Ice Age animals and learn about paleontology.
Included with museum admission and free for members. School group and homeschool group reservation is required to receive the $1 per student admission fee.
