State Historic Sites Digs

dig_lanier.jpgIn addition to digs across the state, the museum conducts digs at some of the State Historic Sites. A recent dig at Historic New Harmony uncovered a wealth of archaelogic artifacts from the Utopian settlement.

Regular digs are also done at the Angel Mounds State Historic Site in Evansville. The digs allow curators and scientists to learn even more about the state we call home.

Indianapolis composers Albert and Harry Von Tilzer wrote “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
