School Lunchroom

The School Lunchroom is located on the first floor of the museum near the Guest Services counter.  The lunchroom features enough seats for 200 students, teachers and chaperones. skl_lunch.jpg

Your field trip group may reserve the lunchroom in half–hour increments and groups should be in line and ready to enter the lunchroom at their scheduled time. If your students brought their meals, the museum staff will ensure that your food arrives at the School Lunchroom when your group does.  If your group has pre-ordered box lunches, staff members will instruct your group on how to pick up your box lunches from the Canal Café

All food and drinks must be consumed in the lunchroom unless you choose to eat outdoors at nearby Military Park or by the Canal.

Pre-scheduling is required to use the School Lunchroom.  Call 317.232.1637 to schedule.

The first city in the nation to have electric street lighting was Wabash, which switched on its system in 1880.
