fr_cafe2.jpgThe Indiana State Museum offers several dining options on your field trip.

  • The Canal Café & Terrace is open during museum hours and features a variety of kid-friendly foods and beverages. Fom 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily, the Café offers hot entrees including pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers. Lunch prices average $5-$6. The Canal Café & Terrace (indoors and outdoors) are for use by Café customers only.
  • Box lunches also are available. Ask your Guest Services representative for more details when scheduling a field trip.
  • The museum’s School Lunchroom seats 200 guests and is available to all pre-scheduled groups. Reservations are for half–hour increments and groups should be in line and ready to enter the lunchroom at their scheduled time. All food and drinks must be consumed in the lunchroom unless you choose to eat outdoors.
Arcada Stark Balz was the first woman elected to the Indiana Senate in 1942.
