Sun., noon – 2 p.m.

What is THAT?  From taxidermy to stereoscopes and from geodes to ox yokes, the Indiana State Museum offers a wide variety of daily demonstrations in the Governor Frank O'Bannon Great Hall.  During the demonstrations, visitors have the opportunity to ask questions, listen to presentations and learn something new about Indiana, its people, past and present.

See history come to life through demonstrations that highlight topics including cultural history, Native American history and more.

For a schedule of Great Hall Demos, visit our Calendar of Events.

In 1854, the average length of the annual school term in Indiana was just over two and a half months.
