ISDT > Training/Deployment Intox EC/IR II Training/Deployment Intox EC/IR II

Indiana State Department of Toxicology (ISDT) began training certified breath test operators using the new approved Intox EC/IR II instrument breath test method March 10, 2014 and completed the training on September 11, 2014.  Training was located at five sites around the state with a total of 83 training sessions held.  Law enforcement agencies sent a total of 4,370 officers to the training. 

During this same time period ISDT began replacing the DataMaster Breath Test instrument with the new Intox EC/IR II instrument (pictured below).  It is anticipated that all DataMaster instruments will be replaced by the new instrument by September 30, 2014.
