Recommendations and Conclusions
-
Schools reporting immunization data to the Indiana State Department of Health need to ensure accurate statistics are submitted and should validate report results prior to submission.
-
Schools who experienced low coverage levels should make strong efforts to improve their rates. If you need support to increase your rates, please contact your local health department or Immunization Field Representative.
-
Schools need to remain abreast of the school requirements for the 2006-2007 school year. School immunization requirements can be accessed through the Indiana State Department of Health Immunization Program website at: http://www.in.gov/isdh/programs/immunization/SchoolRequirements/index_school_req.htm.
