Administrators and health care professionals are invited to use this section to access information to help them comply with state and federal regulations. This section also includes requirements to register or certify aides in Indiana.

The Acute Care and Long Term Care Divisions of the Indiana State Department of Health provide state licensure and federal certification of Medicare and Medicaid for more than 8,000 providers, ranging from ambulatory surgery centers to residential facilities.

In addition, these Divisions maintain a nurse aide registry for Certified Nurse Aides, Qualified Medication Aides, and Registered Home Health Aides. The objective is to ensure that each health provider maintains "quality of care" equal to state and federal standards.

The Acute Care and Long Term Care Divisions are located at 2 North Meridian Street, 4th Floor, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
