A Birthing Center is a freestanding entity that has the sole purpose of delivering a normal or uncomplicated pregnancy. The term does not include a hospital that is licensed as a hospital under IC 16-21-2. of

To begin a search for facilities within a specific county, click on a county on the state map. This will take you to a listing of all the facilities within that county. As an alternative, you can also choose the first letter of the county name on the alphabet bar under the heading County Search. This will take you to a list of all the counties that begin with that letter, and you can select a county of interest there.

To view a listing for facilities within a specific city, choose the first letter of the city name on the alphabet bar under the heading City Search. This will take you to a list of all the cities that begin with that letter, and you can select your city of interest there. Once you click on a city, you will be taken to a listing of all the facilities within that city.

Finally, by clicking on State-wide Directory, you will be taken to the directory of facilities for the entire state.
