Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB) cases among children in an attempt to identify the groups at highest risk of TB so interventions can be made to reduce infection among these populations.  A chart review was performed on all active TB cases in children < 5 years-old occurring in Indiana from January 2005 to October 2009.  There were a total of 29 cases of active TB in children < 5 during the study period.
