LHD-ISDH MONTHLY WEBCASTS
The webcasts are hosted the second Friday of each month by the Local Health Department Outreach Division and the State Health Commissioner. EVENTS and TRAININGS
Health Officer MeetingsThere are two meetings held in the fall and spring of each year semi-annually. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are offered to all Health Officers who attend. The purpose of the semi-annual meetings is to provide on-going training and opportunities for health officers to meet and network with their colleagues and peers. Public Health Nurse Conference
This conference is held annually in May. Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credits are offered to all public health nurses who attend. The purpose of the meeting is to provide on-going training for nurses and opportunities to meet and network with colleagues and peers.
**Our next conference is in May 9-10 2013. The times and location is to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
Public Health Nurse/Environmental Health Specialists Orientation
This orientation is held annually near the end of the year in collaboration with the environmental health specialist orientation. Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credits are offered to all public health nurses who attend. The purpose of the meeting is to provide on-going training for nurses and opportunities to meet and network with colleagues and peers.
**The date for the PHN/EHS Orientation is December 2013 at the ISDH, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana in Rice Auditorium. Please contact Jessica Trimble at jtrimble@isdh.in.gov for more information.
