Funding Source Definitions
LOCAL: Funding from non-state and non-federal sources, such as county funds, private grants, etc., administered by the Soil and Water Conservation Districts, running on the calendar year.
STATE: State funded programs running on the state fiscal calendar July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018.
FEDERAL: Federally funded programs running on the federal fiscal year (FFY), October 1, 2016, to September 30, 2017.
205j: Section 205(j) Water Quality Management Planning Funding (IN Dept. of Environmental Management, Federal). Funding for new projects in FFY 2017.
319: Section 319 Nonpoint Source Water Quality Funding (IN Dept. of Environmental Management/U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Federal). Funding for new projects in FFY 2017.
ACEP: Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (Natural Resources Conservation Service, Federal). Dollars represent funds paid out in FFY 2017.
CWI: Clean Water Indiana (State Soil Conservation Board, State). Funding for new projects in the State FY 2017.
CRP/CREP: Conservation Reserve Program & Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (Farm Service Agency, Federal). Funding paid out in FFY 2017.
CSP: Conservation Stewardship Program (Natural Resources Conservation Service, Federal). New contracts in FFY 2017.
ECP: Emergency Conservation Program (Farm Service Agency, Federal). Funding paid out in FFY 2017.
EQIP: Environmental Quality Incentives Program (Natural Resources Conservation Service, Federal). New contracts in FFY 2017.
GBDP: Game Bird Habitat Development Program (IN Dept. of Natural Resources, State). Dollars represent funds paid out in FFY 2017.
GRP: Grassland Reserve Program (Farm Service Agency, Federal). Dollars represent funds paid out in FFY 2017.
LARE: Lake and River Enhancement Program (IN Dept. of Natural Resources, State). Dollars include funding directly to the county and a portion of any regional funding that affects the county in the State FY 2017.
LMCP: Lake Michigan Coastal Program (IN Dept. of Natural Resources, State). Dollars include funding directly to the county and a portion of any regional funding that affects the county in the State FY 2017.
WHCP: Wildlife Habitat Cost-Share Program (IN Dept. of Natural Resources, State). Dollars represent projects funded and completed during the State FY 2017.
WRP/WREP: Wetland Reserve Program (Natural Resources Conservation Service, Federal). Dollars represent new obligations and restoration payments in FFY 2017.
