About IPAC

The Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council is a state agency that was statutorily created in 1973. Its membership consists of all the prosecuting attorneys in Indiana and their chief deputies and it is governed by a 10 member Board of Directors. The Council assists prosecuting attorneys in their duties by preparing manuals, providing legal research, conducting training seminars, and acting as a liaison with study commissions and agencies of all branches of local, state and federal government that would be of benefit to law enforcement and the fair administration of justice in Indiana. See I.C. 33-39-8.
