Web Analytics
The state's new Web analytics package, WebTrends, is now available. WebTrends is a web analytics solution that captures Web site visitor behavior. The solution is comprised of multiple software components providing a complete and flexible tool for measuring various aspect of IN.gov's Web site traffic. Because the tool is highly configurable, it is capable of meeting the vast requirements of the state.
The solution performs the following:
- Benchmarks Web site information;
- Captures information about what happens on a site or a specific page;
- Analyzes behavior on the site, page or specific functionality;
- Analyzes search engine and Web site referrer statistics; and,
- Provides intelligence about the visitors of the Web site.
In addition, WebTrends allows IN.gov to provide agencies with a variety of valuable reports and real-time analysis of Web site visitors' behaviors. This enables meaningful information to be provided to agencies about their Web site visitors, including trends, behaviors and return visitors.
