Governor's Fitness Awards

The Governor’s Fitness Award is a program of the Governor’s Council for Physical Fitness and Sports. The goal of the program is to introduce school age children to physical activity as a way of life. Students embark upon a nine week program during which the student designs his or her own fitness program with the guidance of an adult and a booklet provided by the Council. There is no cost for the program. Governor’s Fitness Award booklets can be downloaded by clicking the GFA Booklet below. Certificates and clinics are provided by the Governor’s Council for Physical Fitness and Sports. Click here for more information on how to administer the program.

Upon completion of the Governor's Fitness Award, send a Microsoft Excel file (xls or csv) containing the names of those whom completed the program to mailto:help@inshape.in.gov.
