Gifts of land to the Indiana Natural Resource Foundation with conservation value are a great way to ensure your property will be protected and effectively managed forever. A team of biologists, geologists and naturalists will manage your property and make it available for public access in perpetuity.
The Indiana Natural Resources Foundation welcomes gifts of land to advance our conservation initiatives. Gifts of land will be used for two primary purposes:
- To create or add to a nature preserve, fish and wildlife area, state park or historical site.
- To provide funding for protection of vital habitat for Indiana’s flora and fauna through the sale of the donated land.
Donations of land can also provide landowners a wide variety of potential tax benefits. See our gift acceptance policy for more information on donations of land.
If you are interested in donating land to the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation, please call Bourke Patton, Executive Director at (317) 234-5447.
