Take advantage of ERM training
A variety of training opportunities and methods will be provided to help employers become familiar with the Employer Reporting and Maintenance (ERM) application,
scheduled to launch in 2012.
A special edition of Employer Update with links to the training resources will be emailed to employers as soon as the resources are available.
Available mid-January 2012
User Manuals will provide detailed instructions on completing and troubleshooting all functions of the ERM application.
Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) provide high-level overviews of the most commonly performed functions in the ERM application. Most are one page, front and back.
Computer-Based Trainings (CBTs) allow users to receive training at their workstations on their own schedule. CBTs visually and audibly explain how to perform functions in ERM with screenshots highlighting each step of the task.
Available February 2012
Webinars provide ERM users with interactive, educational sessions on how to complete various functions in ERM. Webinar attendees will have the ability to pose questions to a live moderator.
Available March 2012
Classroom Workshops, to be scheduled at various locations throughout the state, will allow employer users to receive hands-on training. These workshops are ideal for those that prefer direct contact with an INPRS representative. Stay tuned for information on how to register for a classroom workshop.
A practice period called a “soft open” will be scheduled prior to go-live. Employers will be able to practice uploading their new file layouts, enrolling members, etc. This will not be a live environment, and information entered into the system during this period will not be saved.
Continue to read Employer Update and visit er.inprs.in.gov for more information on how to take advantage of these training opportunities.
Respond today INPRS has contacted all employers to verify each employer’s Authorized Agent/Superintendent. Additionally, by now all employers should have received a mailing from INPRS. This mailing included form(s) necessary to set up employer accounts in the new Employer Reporting and Maintenance (ERM) application. If you have not received these forms, please contact INPRS.Thank you in advance for your prompt response.
If you are unable to attend a live webinar, a recorded version is available here.
