Public involvement is an integral element of the U.S. 24 Fort to Port project. This inclusive, ongoing communication program provides information to the public about the project work and opportunities for citizens to make comments, voice concerns, and ask questions that are considered in the decision-making process.
Presently, no public meetings are scheduled. Please check back later.

Project Public Involvement Background
The Fort to Port project has a history of extensive public involvement dating back to 2003. The project plan included a public involvement program that was developed and implemented to include public participation along with federal state, and local agencies contributing throughout project development. A summary of public involvement and agency coordination activities throughout the development of the U.S. 24 project was presented in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. A series of public hearings were held in October 2003 to present the approved Draft Environmental Impact Statement for public comment. The input received influenced the direction of the Fort to Port project.
