Estimated construction cost: $13.4 million

This Major Moves project will add travel lanes on SR1 from I-69 to just east of Tonkle Road north of Fort Wayne. Nearly 1.5 miles of new lanes will be added to SR 1, turning it from a narrow and sometimes congested two-lane road into a four-lane divided highway with turn lanes, curbs, gutters and storm sewers. This project includes adding new signs and modernizing signals.
