The Indiana Department of Transportation has initiated a study of transportation needs and opportunities in the State Route 101 corridor in Southeastern Indiana. The objectives of this study are to assess the feasibility of improvements to the S.R. 101 corridor between U.S. 50 and Markland Dam, as well as other alternatives for improving mobility in Southeastern Indiana. Specifically, the study will:

Public Information Meeting: A public information meeting was held November 14, 2001 on the "Draft Statement of Purpose and Need" and "Preliminary Alternatives" in Versailles, IN. A public information meeting is scheduled for January 22, 2003 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Dillsboro Town Hall.
