Division Focus

The mission of the Fiscal Policy and Federal Affairs Division is to:

• Develop and recommend new fiscal policies and policy changes.
• Analyze and interpret proposed federal and state legislation.
• Coordinate INDOT's response to national transportation surveys and requests for comments on vital issues.
• Monitor sanctionable programs and take actions necessary to avoid penalties.
• Coordinate activities related to AASHTO.
• Monitor media resources to identify critical information pertaining to transportation and apprise management as appropriate.
• Coordinate applications for federal discretionary funding.
