Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance Section is responsible for establishing statistically based Quality Assurance (QA) specifications and Quality Control (QC) procedures. All related activities of the QC/QA programs are developed by the section including the Certified Technician training programs, inspection and operating procedures, staffing and equipment requirements, and evaluating procedures. The section may be contacted for information concerning these programs and the following additional areas of responsibility:

  • Appeal procedures, material processing, and material monitoring of failed materials.
  • Certified Materials and Certified Producer Programs.
  • Quality of fines and aggregates.
