Indiana Department of Transportation

These are the current versions of files compatible with INDOT Workspace, and the V8i versions of the Bentley Production. Currently, all files are verified to work with SS2 releases specified on the Current Versions page (Link to Current Versions). Be aware that all INDOT Work should be completed in Imperial Units, therefore any metric files are provided for reference only and may not be current with their Imperial counterparts.  If clicking a download link below results in displaying plain text, go back to the link, right-click and choose "save target as" to save the file.

  More Information – This is the current version of the INDOT Plans Production guide, containing information on the CAD Workspace, and predominantly information on the new InRoads features and functionality.

  INDOT Survey.pdf

  More Information – This is the XM version Survey Manual, with instruction on how the Survey seed files and should be used. At this time, there are no plans to update this for V8i, so the MX portions can be ignored, while the MicroStation procedures called out are still valid.

  More Information – This PDF contains the full catalog of cells provided in the INDOT cell libraries. Where libraries of both units are available, the Imperial Unit library is included.

  More Information – These PDFs are a printout of the currently used symbologies for INDOT features in the MicroStation/InRoads workspace, including point cell features. These are the existing features currently captured in the survey process. Please check back often, as this section will be updated with additional styles and symbologies as they are defined by the agency.
