In December 2006, fiscal forecasts were developed for the 2016-2030, time period. These forecasts were used in conjunction with the prioritized project listings to identify which projects would be funded and when they would be implemented. This effort resulted in lists of funded, unfunded, and innovatively-financed projects. In January 2007, the long-range planning section met with the state’s Metropolitan Planning Organizations. Representatives from the Federal Highway Administration and INDOT’s District Offices also participated in these meetings. Consultation partners were asked to review the project listings and submit comments and corrections. Listed below are the notes from those meetings.
The project review meeting notes represent the middle stage of the plan development consultation process. These notes document the discussion of individual projects and the identification of issues. INDOT used the comments provided to make corrections and adjustments to the project listings to produce the draft Plan that was presented to the public at the INDOT District Open Houses in early May 2007.
