The Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship
Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (OSBE) provides access to the state’s most expert business consultants in a variety of specialized fields including but not limited to business plan development, capital formation, exporting, government procurement and strategic planning. Indiana understands a strong economy relies on knowledgeable, well networked, startup entrepreneurs and small business owners. To ensure Indiana continues to be a state the works, these consulting services are available at no costs for entrepreneurs launching or growing businesses.
The Indiana Small Business Development Center
The Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) was created to have a positive and measurable impact on the formation, growth, and sustainability of small businesses in Indiana, and to help Hoosier Entrepreneurs start stronger, grow faster, and work smarter. Indiana Office of Defense Development
IODD will focus on growing Indiana’s defense sector by promoting the defense assets located in Indiana. We want to create new products which will preserve and grow Indiana’s military installations as well as attract companies, both presently in Indiana and those interested in relocating, to retain and grow the defense related industry in Indiana.& IODD plans to assist in the commercialization of DoD and other federal intellectual property and assets creating additional high quality jobs for Indiana.
Indiana Aerospace & Defense Council
Conexus Indiana, in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, is working to ensure that the aerospace & defense industry continues to flourish in Indiana. By creating the industry-led Indiana Aerospace & Defense Council, Conexus hopes to be a catalyst for programs and opportunities that will support a prosperous economy and a competitive defense marketplace for years to come.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) is the State of Indiana's lead economic development agency. The IEDCwas officially established in February 2005 to replace the former Department of Commerce. In order to respond quickly to the needs of businesses, the IEDC operates like a business.
Central Indiana Defense Industrial Association
The Central Indiana Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) is Central Indiana’s leading Defense Industry association promoting national security. NDIA is proud to provide a legal and ethical forum for the exchange of information between Industry and Government on National Security issues. Our members foster the development of the most innovative and superior equipment, training and support for our warfighters and first responders through our divisions, local chapters, affiliated associations and events.
Northeast Indiana Defense Industry Association
The NIDIA (Northeast Indiana Defense Industry Association) was formed with the idea to help fuel industry development in our area. Starting in 2010 we worked with community educators to help develop and improve the local defense community’s ability to attract and retain the required talent to effectively execute business and improved interaction between the defense industry and suppliers in the region for accomplishment of better services to defense and homeland security customers.
